With its own technological line for surface preparation and coating application, PESMENPOL has control over the quality of the finish and corrosion protection of the components of the produced sports equipment and tribunes. As a result, the company also offers a variety of steel substrate protection variants and a wide range of available colours for both indoor and outdoor sports equipment.


As standard, the steel structural elements of produced sports equipment intended for indoor use are protected against corrosion by abrasive blasting and powder coating (corrosion class C1), while for sports equipment used outdoors, the steel structure is subjected to abrasive blasting and hot-dip galvanizing and optionally powder coated (corrosion class C4). Other finishing options are also available upon individual request. The developed technology allows, among others, for the use of double anti-corrosion protection. This is a method of protecting steel elements with a zinc coating and an external powder coating. Prior cleaning of the surface of the components in the abrasive blasting process ensures that the appropriate roughness is obtained to increase the adhesion of the coatings, while the cleaning in the chemical treatment process and the created passive layer provide an additional protective barrier to environmental factors. Powder coating of hot-dip galvanized elements is recommended in the case of high levels of corrosion factors, and at the same time allows obtaining attractive colors of the processed sports equipment used outdoors. The powder coating protects the hot-dip galvanized surface from environmental and chemical influences, prevents rusting under the coating and enhances edge protection. By protecting against zinc removal, it extends the service life of the product protected in this way.
